Community Links

Over the years Hayes Park School has fostered a number of community links, from children visiting Ashwood Care Home to do both gardening (weeding, with a return trip to do some planting) and entertaining the residents with a visit from Hayes Park Pop Stars, to the Steel Band performing at an AgeUK Black History Month lunch.

The ever-growing choir has also taken part in a number of events, including performing at the Hayes Carnival, at the AgeUK lunch, at the turning on of the Hayes Town Christmas lights, and performing a Christmas Carol Concert in a local care home.

Yeading Cluster Services: Hayes Park School is part of an Extended Schools collaborative. This means that they link up with other schools in the area to provide services for pupils, parents, families and community groups in the areas where the school is located. Through this collaborative the school is able to access facilities and resources that can help them to provide a greater range of services to the community. These services are in the areas of childcare, parental support, referral to professional services and community access to a range of Arts, Sports and Computer facilities.

The school has a number of services currently available and will be adding more to these over the coming months and years. Please keep an eye on our website where any new services will be advertised.

The School

Hayes Park is a Foundation School located within the London

Borough of Hillingdon. We are a co-educational day school with

Nursery, Infant and Junior departments.

Background

In September, 1999, we became a Foundation School. This status

enables the Governing Body to establish the long-term aims of the

school, appoint high-quality staff and manage the budget

accordingly.

Governors, staff and parents/carers work together to ensure that

the quality of education provided for the children in our care is of

the highest order.

The Clerk to the Governing Body may be contacted through the

school office.
