Outside Sports

If you are looking for a sport to take part in outside of school, check the links here.

As with any club, visit the club, check you are happy with it before signing your child up - a link on this site is just for information only, it is not a recommendation!

Within 2.5 miles of the school there are 10 Charter Standard football clubs, offering youth football. You can find those with web sites here: Brook House FC, Hillingdon Youth, Sandgate, Ruislip Town FC,and Larkspur Rovers FC, although there are others without websites. If you would like to find a club within a defined radius of your house, you can use the FA's 'find a club' tool.

parkrun offers a weekly, timed 5K run. They are easy to take part in, open to everyone, and completely free (you need to register if you want your time recorded). They take place in attractive surroundings such as Black Park, Osterley Park, Wycombe Rye, check out the events page here to find your local parkrun. Under 11's have to be accompanied on the run, so the whole family could get involved!

If you would rather join a club, check out England Athletics, where you can search for a club that would suit your needs.

We have run a Start New at Golf (SNAG) club for a couple of terms. The children who have taken part have really enjoyed it, and some have taken further lessons via the Golf Trust at the West London Golf Centre, where they have been providing free lessons on a Saturday/Sunday morning for anyone who has attended one of our SNAG club sessions.

There are a number of clubs offering youth netball, including Charville Netball Club, whose head coach also coaches the Hayes Park team, and Blaze Netball Club

Martial Arts

There is a huge variety of martial arts in the local area, try Aikido, Ju Jitsu, Karate, or Taekwondo (run by Tony Butcher, the man who runs our Taekwondo here at Hayes Park).

There are a number of places you can try this out, there's a local BMX track, and road cycling clubs. You could look at Hawks BMX or Slip Stream.
