Tiwa - Sure Breaking Limits Award Winner
We are so proud of Tiwa. She was nominated for this national award by Miss Welsh and was the overall winner. Ellie Simmonds MBE visited Hayes Park at the end of the summer term to present Tiwa with her award in front of the whole of KS2 and her family in a special assembly. Ellie stayed all morning and spent time with Tiwa's class doing PE. Ellie also loved our school dogs!
Tiwa embodies our school values of PREP every day and is a constant inspiration to all around here. Here is what Ellie said about why she choose Tiwa as the winner: 'I absolutely love how Tiwa shows personal growth with all the things she's been able to do, particularly showing incredible will-power and resilience, especially in sporting activities. She is striving for independence and challenging herself, but doing it in the most perfect way! When she falls down, she laughs and gets back up again. That's what life is all about. She's clearly motivating her peers with her great words and leads by example. An example to everyone.'
