Why Join Us?
Choosing a school for your child is one of the most difficult decisions you will make as a family. Yes, you can read the Ofsted report and yes, you can look at the results - we would encourage you to do both of these, as children at Hayes Park make terrific progress during their time with us and achieve results consistency above national averages.
However, primary school is about more than this; it is a chance to begin a relationship with a school where your child will be cared for, nurtured, inspired and educated for seven years of their life. Primary education is about experiences, friendships, exploring the outdoors, gaining independence and confidence; our PREP values (of perseverance, respect, excellence and partnership) are at the core of all we do and help to support these aims. We are blessed with a fabulous staff of professionals, all of whom are committed to providing the very best for your child both inside the classroom and beyond. If you would like to learn more about Reception in particular, click HERE.
This website is a great place to start to get an understanding of all that we do and achieve, but there is no substitute for coming and seeing for yourself. We run a suite of open sessions throughout the year aimed at those looking to apply for a Reception place for their child next September (click HERE to book). At these you will get a chance to meet the Head Teacher and the Assistant Head for Early Years; learn a bit more about us (and Reception in particular) and have a tour of the school with our Head Pupils. If you are looking to move your child to Hayes Park in a different year group, these sessions would be useful for you too. If none of the dates are suitable, please contact the school office and we will try and organise for you to have an informal look around the school with a member of the senior team.
We are thrilled that you are considering Hayes Park for your child and hope to welcome you into school soon.
